The exhibition and marketplace
This is the focal point of the gathering and CIVICUS World Assembly providing promotional opportunities for the voluntary sector and companies alike.

There will be space for around 120 exhibitors with prominent positions throughout the hall or, opportunities to take part in or create your own zones. We hope to ensure that any exhibitor can find the right space for their needs.

Organisations working around common themes such as poverty or childcare might want to get together and create their own zones within the exhibition.

We can offer excellent discounted rates on multiple stand bookings.

New to the Marketplace
This year’s event will see the return of “the podium”, located centrally within the marketplace it provides exhibitors and event hosts the opportunity to launch a product or service to the many visitors, exhibitors and delegates networking and browsing around the hub of the events.

Once again the “CIVICUS internet café” will be located within the marketplace, which will allow international delegates attending the World Assembly the opportunity to check what’s happening back home and bring that extra buzz to the marketplace.

We will welcome back the ever popular chill out and stress busting area, interactive arts and crafts, catering and refreshment areas, additional seating and networking areas, and much more.  There will be music and entertainment throughout the event.

Exhibit at the gathering and CIVICUS World Assembly (19th & 20th June 2008) package includes -

Multiple Exhibition Stands/Zones
10% discount per additional stand, Additional advertising on gathering website and adverts appearing the Herald’s Society. Zone clearly marked on all exhibition floor plans and in the on-the-day brochure along with an advert promoting your zone.

Event and Exhibition booking
If your organisation or company is interested in room hire and exhibition hire 10% discounts will be applied when you book both. We will also assist you advertising your event through various mailings, the gathering website and in the Herald's Society.

Additional benefits to participants
Exhibitors and event hosts at the gathering and World Assembly will this year get exclusive opportunities to network with pre-registered CIVICUS delegates.  Each participating organisation will be invited to join CIVICUS delegates at the official Opening Ceremony and the Gala Dinner, both of which are held within the SECC.
